Logistop and the Port of Barcelona are organising “LogisPort | Towards port efficiency and sustainability”, a face-to-face conference that will bring together leading professionals and experts from the logistics-port sector with the aim of promoting the adoption of sustainable practices and the integration of digital technologies to promote a more efficient and environmentally friendly future in the port sector.

This initiative is part of the joint strategy of the two organisations to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the logistics-port sector, promoting innovative and collaborative measures.

With the participation of prominent industry leaders and experts in technologies applied to logistics, “LogisPort | Towards port efficiency and sustainability” is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends and innovative solutions that are shaping the future of port logistics.

The conference will be opened by the President of the Port of Barcelona, Lluís Salvadó, and the Managing Director of Logistop, Tomás de la Vega.

During the day, two round tables will be held to address key issues such as the digital transformation of ports, the implementation of sustainable technologies and strategies to achieve more efficient and responsible port logistics.

The first, entitled “The future docks at the port: driving digital transformation” will be moderated by the head of Innovation of the Port of Barcelona, Carles Rua, and will be made up of the Port’s digital manager, Ruth Pablo, the CEO of Híades Business Patterns, Airam Rodríguez, and the CEO of Prodevelop, Miguel Montesino.

The second round table “Transforming ports: decarbonisation and sustainable logistics” will be moderated by the director of CENIT, Sergi Saurí, and with the managing partner, Althium, Guillermo Massot, the head of Energy Transition of the Port of Barcelona, Héctor Calls, and the director of Sustainability of BERGÉ, Javier Moreno González, as speakers.

The event will also include “Utopias and Dystopias”, a space for interviews in which the president of Logistop, Pablo Gómez, will interview the chief strategy officer & executive board member of Zeleros Hyperloop, Luis Navarro (this interview can be followed in streaming at this link).

The meeting will also provide a networking space for participants to establish contacts, foster collaborations and generate synergies that contribute to the joint development of sustainable and innovative projects.
